WRAL First Night Raleigh, City Plaza, Downtown Raleigh, Friday, December 31st, 2pm-1am

• Festivities begin with the early afternoon City Plaza outdoor musical performances and the Children’s Celebration at 2pm.
• The night is capped off with music on the outdoor Main Stage, the famous Raleigh Acorn Drop, and a spectacular fireworks show.
• Bonus this year is that the entire event outside and our new COVID safety measures.

• One of my favorite newer Christmas traditions, pulling out that ugly Christmas sweater for all to see! 
  • Southern Peak, an Apex neighborhood brewery and taproom, will be offering prizes for the best (tackiest) sweaters at 8:30pm, so come dressed ready to win!

• What's not to love about llamas in holiday scarfs, goats on Santa's naughty list, and ponies with reindeer antlers!? All of that in one place, of course!
• Enjoy access to the 1870 farm, transformed into a festive winter wonderland complete with Santa, pony rides, hay rides, campfire s'mores, Frosty the Snowman, a huge hay field for kids to run wild in, and more!
